Kristin Claus is the youngest daughter of the big man himself, Santa. Of the three girls born to him and Mrs. Claus, Kristin is the one of the two still left at home -- their older sister having left the North Pole in order to start her own life (though she does visit whenever her and her husband's schedule will allow). At seventeen, Kristin knows she is in an odd position -- on the verge of adulthood, just the right time to start thinking about what she wants to do with her life. Does she follow her sister and leave the North Pole? Or does she remain home where everything is comfortable and familiar?
